Depending on the nature of the programme I may blend training and facilitation. Training is about passing on concepts and providing support for skills development. Process facilitation is about helping the thinking in a group in a generative and collaborative way.
I draw on my years as an educator, trainer and coach and facilitator to create a space where we can have a laugh whilst engaging in meaningful and challenging work. My facilitation style has been described as “insightful” and “inclusive”.
I suggest and will often co-lead with two trainers/facilitators. I find that this creates for more dynamic workshops with a broader depth of experience and perspective made available to the participants. This creates safety for different expressions and perspectives to be surfaces, where participants feel encouraged to be themselves and bring their own uniqueness. It’s also a lot more fun!
